Charlotte is a tenure-track post-doc at Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI), Bergen, Norway. She is also affiliated to FAIR (Norwegian School of Economics). She previously completed a post-doc at CREED at the University of Amsterdam.

Her main research interests are in the economics of the household, with a focus on intra-household resource allocation and determinants of bargaining power. Charlotte is also interested in reproductive and sexual health issues including family planning, intimate partner violence, and female genital cutting.
